Industry Response to Dangerous Doses:

On Eban's Congressional Testimony
Ms. Eban's disregard for the efforts made by federal and state agencies - as well as industry trade associations such as HDMA and PDA - to better regulate the industry, also invites - and in fact encourages - discrimination against thousands of small and medium-sized business which, for many years, have just as passionately fought for uniform and effective regulation of legitimate pharmaceutical wholesalers.
- American Free Trade Association, industry group for drug wholesalers, in written testimony presented to a House Criminal Justice, Drug Policy and Human Resources Subcommittee, November 1, 2005.

Ms. Eban, [the American Free Trade Association] huffed, showed, "undisguised disdain" for their efforts to water down regulation of drug diversion techniques. She is also charged with "intolerance", and "encouraging discrimination" against small businesses which are just trying to make a buck in the gray market. Ms. Eban's transgression, it seems, was to reveal systemic fraud and felonious conduct by a whole gallery of rogues who populate many of the "small businesses" championed by AFTA.
- Don deKieffer, Washington lawyer, November 3, 2005.

There's a new book out ... called Dangerous Doses. And that would be eye-opening for members of the committee to read.
